Before you make an appointment please familiarise yourself with our policies
If your desired appointment time isn’t available, please book the soonest available appointment and leave a note with your preferred time/date. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request and add you to our cancellation list which is updated daily.
Your online booking will be confirmed by one of our team members who will call you during reception hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm, and Saturday, 9.30am – 3.30pm.
…but occasionally our system shows times that conflict with other services. If this occurs, we’ll contact you. If we can’t reach you, we’ll move your booking to the next available time and notify you of the change. If the new appointment isn’t suitable, please get in touch and we’ll find an alternative or refund your deposit via PayPal.
We require confirmation of your appointment by text two days before your booking. Life is chaotic! We understand. This is why we send you a reminder text with the details of your booking 72 hours before your appointment.
The message asks you to confirm by either responding ‘YES’ or to phone us to reschedule if this is absolutely necessary. To cancel you can respond ‘CANCEL’ or ‘NO’, but please note our cancellation policy regarding deposits in this situation.
If we don’t receive a response via text message we will send you a follow-up email and attempt to call you. If we’re unable to confirm your appointment by 12 noon the salon day before your appointment (for Tuesday appointments this means by 12 noon on Saturday, we will have sent you a text message on Friday) we will cancel your appointment and offer it to someone on our waiting list.
In cases such as these your deposit will be void and a new one will be needed to make a new booking.
While your booking is for a service, our team is limited to the time allocated to that appointment. Your stylist will work towards your goal in the booked time and will advise what they are able to achieve within your session. If your desired look requires multiple sessions and cannot be reached within your appointment time, your stylist will work with you to form a plan for your hair.
…and we have the time available to accommodate this, our prices are based on an allocated time and product quantity. Additional time will be charged at the rate of $130 per hour, in 15-minute intervals of $32.50.
Are $100 where the service is over $100, and full payment is required upfront for services under $100.
If you’re having a big change, we recommend a 15-minute consultation ahead of your actual appointment to plan your dream look. Consultations are $50. You can redeem $25 of the consultation fee against a future booking if it is made at the time of the consultation and not cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the appointment. Consultations are available at the time of your appointment, however, will reduce time available for services.
Extensions are a specialised service and require planning. Please book your initial consultation online and we’ll book your actual appointment during the consultation. Please also note we work only with extensions purchased through us and do not adjust or install extensions purchased elsewhere. If you are an existing client and you want to book an adjustment, please email [email protected]. For all other extension service enquiries – including clip ins and temporary hair extensions — please book a hair extension consultation.
Even though social distancing has eased, we ask that you please don’t bring friends, family members, children or pets to your appointment. Our allocated seats are for scheduled clients and additional people in the salon impacts the experience of others in the salon.
If you need to bring a child or baby in a pram to your appointment, please call ahead to see if we have space for them on that day.
Please arrive having washed your hair within 48 hours of your visit and without excess product. Build-up – particularly dry shampoo and colour sprays or powders – can interfere with some colours. If we need to clarify your hair to prepare for a colour service this may incur additional costs.
Afterpay and ZipPay are available on spends over $200. Please note this payment method voids any discounts.
